I provide a range of coaching and learning services, including 1:1 coaching on career and business success, facilitation of action learning, group coaching, behaviour change workshops and both online and face-to-face training.  
I’m also an active Alumni Fellow for Nottingham Trent University and an Ambassador for Doctor’s In Distress, who provide mental health support for NHS Staff.  During the cricket season, I can be found at Trent Bridge, where I work as a volunteer co-ordinator of the team of volunteers supporting domestic cup and international cricket matches.

At Correlation One, our mission is to build the largest and most diverse community of data professionals worldwide. In line with this mission, my focus is on assisting Amazon employees who are undergoing data professional training through Correlation One. I help them use their learning to find roles within the data science industry.

Bloom provides a route to procure professional services for the public sector, including consultancy, planning advice, and transformation programmes. I managed the relationship with over 75 local authorities and eight housing associations. I managed the commercial relationship, onboarded new customers, and supported customers to procure services quickly and efficiently.

Premier Partnership

Premier is one of the UK’s leading providers of managed training services to the public sector. As Account Director, I was responsible for a small team providing training services across a range of customers. My customers included local authorities, civil service departments, housing associations, universities and two NHS Trusts. I built excellent working relationships with senior managers within the customer organisation, leading to a high retention rate and year on year growth of accounts. I provided quality assurance to customers for the delivery of programmes to ensure high-quality delivery and improved efficiency in the provision of learning and development. I also worked with suppliers to develop their business using Premier's contract, providing advice and consultancy on developing services and approaches to meet customer needs.

Account Director: Public Sector Clients

I managed the relationship with multiple customers across the public sector.  I built effective relationships with learning and development leaders within my customers, leading to customer retention and referrals to new customers. My experience of managing learning and development meant that I could manage suppliers on behalf of the customer, monitoring the quality of work produced and challenging suppliers where necessary. I monitored the delivery of training through observations and evaluation data, taking action where necessary to improve performance and ensure that the customer’s requirements were met. I managed several large scale programmes, including leadership development, executive coaching and business change that were delivered on time, on budget and to high quality.

Client Relationship Manager

Nottingham City Council

I project managed the organisational development programme that supported the implementation of the Care Act 2014. I designed training for all staff working in social care within the Council and facilitated workshops on the Act. I managed the development of policy, processes and procedures to align with the requirements of the new Act.  I worked with the ICT department to ensure changes to the CareFirst IT system were made so that the department was able to provide a social care service that was compliant with the Act.

Business Improvement Officer

I researched and wrote the workforce development and associated action plan for the adult social care and communities departments. I used the internal HR management information reports plus benchmark data from other councils and government bodies and local workforce information, to benchmark performance and identify trends and issues from the data. I worked with key stakeholders in each department to develop an action plan and influenced senior managers to agree to specific workforce targets around apprentices and other council initiatives.

Strategic Workforce Planning Consultant

Nottinghamshire County Council

I managed a team of six people who were responsible for the commissioning, delivery and evaluation of management and soft skill training across the Council. My achievements include the following:
	Implementation of a new Learning Management System which achieved a 50% increase in the take up of learning within the first two months of operation and which reduced back-office costs by one WTE post.
	Training needs analysis conducted across the whole Council for functional skills and funding accessed to provide training to meet these needs.
	Delivery of several programmes targeted at staff at risk of redundancy or financial loss, resulting in staff engagement being maintained during a difficult time.
	Project managed 360° reviews for 60 senior leaders within the Council and designed training to support the development needs identified.
	Re-accreditation of the Council as an Investor In People.
	Implementation of the Institute of Customer Service Awards across the Council, leading to improvements in customer service standards.
	Delivery of ILM programme to over 100 first-line managers.
 Between 2011 -13 I  project managed the training for the ICT transformation programme. My achievements from this programme were:
	3,200 staff accessed learning about the new system over five-months, with 75% of them rating it as very good or excellent.
	Production of 100 short e-learning modules in support of the programme, which were viewed 10,000 times during the lifetime of the project.
	Face to face training on the new payroll system delivered to 420 school-based staff from 350 different schools over three months.
	£1m in processing costs saved from school payroll implementation.
	Managing the transition from the project to business as usual, coaching staff assuming responsibility for the system to ensure that knowledge of the system was passed on from the contractors working on the project.

Corporate Learning and Development Manager

I was responsible for learning policy, standards and strategy across the Council. My achievements included:
	Chairing interdepartmental meetings of learning and development business partners to agree consistency of approach across the Council.
	Negotiation of policies with the Trade Unions, including implementing a system of Trade Union Learning Representatives, which led to greater engagement by the Trade Unions with learning within the Council.
	Implementing a new on-line evaluation system, leading to savings in the cost of processing and more accurate management information reports.
	Designing and implementing a blended learning programme of equalities training, which was praised for the innovative approach to learning by the Audit Commission.
	Designing and co-delivering a leadership programme (Building Effective Leadership) for 60 senior managers, which led to improvements in corporate working and communication within the Council.

Commission for Social Care Inspection

The Commission was responsible for the regulation of care services for adults receiving social care in England. It was originally set up as the National Care Standards Commission in 2002 and took over regulatory duties from 231 different inspection units based in local authorities and the NHS. Its duties are now part of the remit of the Care Quality Council (CQC). I managed the regional training programme as well as project managing several national learning initiatives across the Commission. I was seconded to the Regional HR Manager’s post for nine months to cover maternity leave, during which time I maintained responsibility for some learning and development projects.  My achievements included:
	Identifying training needs for all staff in the East Midlands when the Commission was first formed.
	Project managing training in inspection methodology.
	Designing a blended learning package for complaint investigations and enforcement action.
	Setting up an internal IT training team, leading to savings of £50k per year in consultancy fees.
	Providing operational HR support to the Regional Director, including leading recruitment campaigns, investigating complaints and grievances and providing HR advice to managers.
	Managing delivery of health and safety, business processes and leadership development training.
	Delivering in-house training, including induction, teambuilding and business processes.

Learning and HR Manager

Mencap

I initially managed all training within the Eastern Division of Mencap, but following a restructuring in 1999, I had responsibility for specific programmes that were delivered across the UK. My achievements included:
	Conducting training needs analysis for over 1000 care staff across 85 locations and producing a training programme to meet needs.
	Delivering training in HR processes, management and safeguarding to over 1,000 staff per year.
	Managing in-house safeguarding training team, leading to a reduction in the cost of training.
	Delivering management of change and account management training to business units across the UK, leading to an increase in commercial awareness.
	Project managing the accreditation of the Mencap Learning Programme with the Open College Network as part of a programme that won the 2001 Pavilion Innovation in Training Award.

Training and Development Manager

I worked with local Mencap groups to campaign for better services for people with a learning disability and their carers. From 1993-1996 I was seconded to the Open University to develop ‘Equal People', an innovative new training programme for carers. This has since been translated into several languages. I  delivered presentations to national and international conferences about the course and the difference it has made to the lives of people with learning disability. My achievements included:
	Developing a day centre for older people with learning disabilities.
	Setting up two Citizen Advocacy Services
	Setting up a scheme to support vulnerable witnesses using ‘appropriate adults’.
	Setting up a national respite care centre for people with profound and multiple disabilities.
	Influencing and changing council policy on learning disability services.
I was awarded the Chief Executive's 'Challenge Award' in 1995 in recognition of my achievements.
