During the COVID Pandemic, helped to pivot the business model to offer Virtual products vs. Outdoors, which added an additional $2M+ revenue and will be an ongoing offering.

IZEA

Reported directly to COO and lead and managed all internal and external Marketing and Campaign Operations as well as an Account Management team of 35 employees, a Sales team of 50+ Salespersons and managed a budget of $25M+.

Discovered an $11M revenue backlog, which included unbilled bookings and unearned revenue. Restructured sales and campaign organizations, which helped to increase yearly bookings of 15%, including a company first-time record quarterly bookings of $8.2M as well as first-ever EBDITA positive recording. https://goo.gl/WV3QwD

Vice President, Revenue Operations, Marketing & Client Services

ZenContent (acquired by IZEA)

Founded a Marketing technology company with $25,000 in paid-in-capital (bootstrapped) and grew it into a multi-million dollar business in a few years. Sold to IZEA in 2016 after building a team of 5,000+ creators serving over 50 Fortune 1000 clients through a web application.

Built a web-based platform for virtual content creation at scale. After single-handedly mapping wireframes and creating a functional design prototype, worked with a near-shore vendor to develop a first-of-its-kind product. Planned all technical aspects of product execution including staffing, timelines, and budget. The product was launched within 10  months after initial prototype for a total investment of $125K. The product would gross more than $8M and over 20M words.

Founder & COO - Digital Marketing

Upwork

Directed a team of 7 engagement managers, 15 project managers and 5 sales development reps charged with acquiring, building and supporting Upwork's managed services clients in the areas of content creation, content moderation, localization, customer support and application development. oDesk was a venture-backed marketplace funded by Benchmark and Sigma Partners.

Lead and develop sales strategy for client development and sales team, maintain forecasting data, train and provide ongoing support for the sales team members.
Collaborated on large scale e-commerce content strategy and creation. Oversaw a large team of virtual, freelance creators to create content in 3 locales, including the US, UK, and Australia. Solely managed a project budget of $5M+

Drove gross services revenue from $75k/month to more than $1M/month over 18 month period. Expanded the base of strategic client engagements (averaging over $500k per engagement) from 3 to more than 15, within 18 months. 

Subject Matter Expert of Upwork platform, worked with Product team for feedback loop and feature request implementation and testing.

Director - Project Management & Enterprise Solutions

Gap Inc.

Led global team that drove key efforts to improve service and eliminate redundancy. These efforts included server consolidation, updated hardware and OS and improved service level agreements. Through LEAN concepts, led a 12-month initiative to reduce $12M in annual IT operating costs by identifying and eliminating unused or underutilized infrastructure environments.

Managed a Value Stream Management session between IT and Finance to reduce audit compliance issues that cost Gap, Inc. $2M annually.

Sr. Project Manager: Project Management Office (PMO)

Genentech Inc

Managed the project to integrate 10 information & quality control systems following an acquisition of the company by Roche Pharmaceuticals. Gathered detailed information from 13 global stakeholder groups with 7,500 impacted individuals. Developed strategic communication plans, end user training materials, corporate presentations, and internal messaging for employees.

Supported the development of a Training Database for over 10 integration systems, gathering detailed information from over 500 stakeholder groups and 7,500 impacted individuals (3,000 virtual); as well as managing end user training for employees, both virtual and onsite.
