In this role, I led and managed a specially trained security team for air missions transiting high-risk terrorist and criminal threat areas throughout the world. We provided close-in security for multi-million-dollar aircraft, cargo and airfields both in-flight and while on the ground. Accomplishing these missions required rigorous physical training, Armaments Systems and Procedures Baton training, use-of-force scenarios, combative classes, live-fire training, and counter terrorism tactics. Additionally, my team provided personal security for high-ranking diplomats and military officials.
