Have you already received your Cares Act tax credit for your business? If not, you may be leaving a large amount of money on the table. One of my clients qualified to receive over $750,000 for their Employee Retention Tax Credit. Another will be receiving $274,410. Helping businesses to successfully file and receive the tax refund they qualify for as a result of the Cares Act is extremely satisfying. Many business owners and managers don't realize that they may still qualify for a tax credit (which is not a loan, so will not require repayment) even if they made profit during COVID. There's no fee to learn what a business will likely qualify to receive and the process to find out what your business qualifies to receive only takes a few minutes. There is still time to get the tax credit for your business, but there is some urgency to do this sooner rather than later because at some point, the funds will be exhausted. If you had between 5 and 500 full or part time employees during 2020 and 2021, even if you received a PPP loan and made profit, you still may qualify. Originally, businesses could only do a PPP loan OR the employee retention tax credit, but that changed after that initial law went into effect and many business owners and managers were not aware of this change.
