I also help innovative and forward-thinking law firms and leadership, attract, inspire and retain their top legal talent. I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Co-Active Training Institute, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and have advanced training in mental fitness coaching through Positive Intelligence (www.positiveintelligence.com). I love blending my experience in professional services, coaching, creative problem solving and innovation, to partner with clients to make meaningful shifts. I am passionate about bringing humanity (empathy, creativity and connection) into the practice of law. Prior to becoming a coach, I spent over 11 years working as an employment lawyer and consultant at one of the largest corporate law firms in Africa. I am an accredited mediator, corporate facilitator, and trainer and have worked in legal innovation, knowledge management and design thinking/human centered design. In 2018, I moved to the US from South Africa. Now a resident of California, when I’m not coaching, I spend my time with my family (husband and two boys) and friends – traveling and exploring. I am also a painter (watercolor and oils - IG @brigittemacdonaldart), a visual art enthusiast and a world adventurer.
