As Practice Director, I would lead strategic initiatives (ERP, CAD, PLM, MDM, IoT, AR, VR, MES, Cloud) with key customers to nurture the vision of digital transformation and change management within their organization to enable successful adoption and delivery of conceptual design, engineering, manufacturing, clouded infrastructure and smart connected products. I work with Heads of IT, Engineering, Procurement as well as Manufacturing in Life Sciences, Industrial, A&D, Automotive and Retail and Consumer Products to implement and improve vendor landscapes with tools such as PTC, Dassault Systemes, Siemens, Aras, and Oracle Cloud.
 
Part of my responsibilities were to help develop phase zero (0) requirements, architectural due diligence, blueprinting, migration path and infrastructure planning as well as to-be future state processes. This process supports our customers to realize the value in digital transformation, operate in a zero capex model, lessen communication gaps and build effective application landscapes using cloud-based technology or hybrid cloud.

My role at Capgemini was mainly to provide customers with exceptional project management operations, innovative architectural disciplines and approaches to overall delivery of digital transformation efforts as well as emerging technologies in the CAD, PLM, MES and MDM segment for North America. I was responsible for establishing and managing the customer relationship, project resources, communication standards, organizational processes, documentation and PMO reporting/tracking.

Additionally, I supported our customers directly to help communicate with stakeholders to ensure optimal project visibility, prioritization, adoption and fulfillment. I also provided initial as-is, maturity assessments and to-be blueprinting for PTC portfolio products (Windchill, ThingWorx and FlexPLM) as well as Dassault Systemes (ENOVIA/3DExperience). This allowed the business to see proof of value and functional feasibility for roadmaps and implementation of new architectural components and process improvements.

As a Director, I was responsible for discovering new PLM opportunities for ArcherGrey PLM Consultative Services, specifically around Dassault Systèmes – CAD (SolidWorks & CATIA) / 3D Experience Platform applications and sustaining the practice. I also coordinated our services that were designed to improve business processes and organizational change management for customers in Retail, Footwear and Apparel, Life Sciences, A&D, Automotive, DoD and DoE as well as High-Tech. It was typical that I would assist our customers in the development of strategic projects and operational planning with their top executives, setting objectives and identifying methods to reach their goals. To this end, I supported our customers as a PLM SME to adopt leading solutions from Dassault Systemes, PTC and Siemens. This helped our customers realize the value and benefit to a digital engineering and manufacturing landscape. 

Once new business has been secured, I worked with other department heads and staff to coordinate project kickoff, blueprinting, application architecture and transitional services to ensure stabilization and project integrity. We would ensure that the true value of digital continuity was achieved each and every time we worked with a customer. ArcherGrey truly cares about quality of services and made a strong effort to keep the customer first. These are good friends of mine to this day.

At Intelaphase I had a strong business impact and was part of the company's leadership reporting directly to the CEO. I was expected on shaping a piece of the business through direct sales in the Retail and Consumer Goods, High-tech and Software PLM as well as Application lifecycle management (ALM) segment. Additionally I supported business operations and developed high-level business relationships while leading large technical and functional teams. To this end, I managed active accounts, service agreements, budget, marketing, partnerships and best in class technical deployment and service delivery models.

During my time with Intelaphase I led one of the largest global cloud based PLM implementation that harmonized 75 software products groups and improved their software release packages for one of the largest software companies in the world. It was truly incredible.

Acnovate Corporation

My areas of responsibility at Acnovate were Business Development, Project Management, Marketing, Solution Architect, Strategic Partnerships, Account Management, and Operational Services for PLM in Retail and Consumer Goods and Engineering/Manufacturing – pretty much did everything. 

In addition to managing services, I also managed the go-to-market and builds for the product release and product roadmaps. This means I would work with R&D and executives to develop pricing models and release cycles for Qiwk Retail Mobile and Qiwk Retail Reporting for PTC Windchill and FlexPLM. For the delivery of Qwik, I was responsible for Proof of Concept (POC) and application implementations; this would include creating the project resources matrix and executive briefs, organizational change management, delivery milestones, client specifications and requirement definition. There was really nothing I didn’t do to ensure the success of Qwik.

PLM Advisor and Contractor for Companies (Cordys - OpenText & Fashion for Globe & Zweave)

During my time as an advisor and consultant, I worked on multiple implementations and advised for many firms and software companies regarding best practices for Windchill 7-9.X FlexPLM, PDMLink & ProjectLink, eMatrix & ENOVIA V6, ENOVIA V5, Teamcenter, (TcEnt/TcE/TcU), CATIA V5 V6 & Pro/E implementations and improvements. Additional advisory for leading applications Cordys BOP, Collaborative Engineering (CE), TIBCO, and FashionForGlobe (FaaS) and regularly contracted with global firms like Deloitte and Accenture.

I would work to help organizations with taxonomy, data migration, consolidation, integration and implementation strategies. These efforts were also to establish and manage enterprise-wide program for PLM/MDM and companywide efforts to identify and evaluate all critical systems to extend PLM footprint.

Additionally I would provide DevOps adoption and governance to many leading solutions and mentored qualified teams committed to meeting schedule, backlogs, sprints and configuration needs. 

Many times I defined Technical and Functional Specification for the customer, presented full-stack development architectures and procedures as well as perform analysis on all recommended application strategies. Facilitated project plan strategy meetings to address server architecture, data quality and process flow. 

Typically, in all cases I acted as a liaison between the customer and technical teams both in BRM and SME capacity. This allowed for optimal configuration and data mapping for item master, lifecycle, workflows, EBOM, MBOM, GUI enhancements and API reports and access control rules.

This was the company that I really made a name for myself. I worked with some of the best people and intelligent UI developers, data miners and PLMers on the planet developing what would eventually become FlexPLM - one of leading PLM solutions to-be acquired by PTC.

For Aptavis (formally LCS) I provided comprehensive remote and onsite support for our customers in the footwear and apparel industry implementing FlexPLM in all areas of professional services, pre and post sales, along with leading technical teams for R&D. 

Much of the time I developed POC/CRP as the project lead for clients and potential clients then demonstrated the proposed solution highlighting the value of application through reports for seasonal line plans and sku/product comparisons, Tech Pack, POMs, Calendars etc.  This helped many footwear and apparel companies to realize the benefit, value and capability of PLM.

When I was not on a deployment or sales call, I handled quality assurance, defect list and enhancement requests for the core application to improve customer experience for FlexPLM.
