Executive Vice President, People Management

Non-Profit Healthcare

This non-profit healthcare system was ready to bring their HR department to the table through an extensive transformation of Human Resources. I was recruited to overhaul HR Operations by way of developing a non-traditional HR Shared Services model, Employee Relations function and cutting-edge HR Communications department. Serving over 33,000 team members through driving efficient operations that link HR strategy to existing and future  needs.

Shared Services: Anyone can implement a call center, few can create your all-in-one resource center.
     - Standard 18 month implementation timeline completed in 5 months.
     - Customer satisfaction score of 4.28 obtained and sustained within first month of launch.
     - Less than 12% turnover in shared service model.
     - CoE buy-in and engagement achieved within first months of launch.

Employee Relations: ER can do so much more than simply define relationship between employers and employees. 
     - Non-traditional approach to dated function.
     - Overhauled all policies to ensure an environment of inclusiveness was achieved.
     - Provided each facility with a dedicated ER Consultant, HRBP and OD Consultant.

HR Communications: HR metrics and analytics came into mainstream HR in the early 2000s. Now it's time to truly communicate a story with that data. 
     - Design of real-time communication to each facility.
     - Ability to provide senior operators with value-based data to better determine performance.
     - Champion engagement throughout the organization.

Fortune 500 - Healthcare 

This for-profit healthcare organization needed competent and strategic talent due to the need of a massive over haul. The organization was operating as a 1 star rating and was attempting to recover from a damaging community reputation.  

During my tenure I completed the following:
- Dramatically reduced turnover
- Revamped the workplace culture
- Overhauled all clinical education efforts 
- Change catalysts throughout the system

More specifically, I created, implemented and executed leadership development program across 43 hospitals  within the division. I reduced turnover by 13% within first year, hired and retained over 450+ team members, implemented RN specific learning program to ensure patient safety all while assisting executive leadership in obtaining a positive EBITDA in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

It seems that no matter who you talk to, everyone has had the dream of striking out on their own. I did just that when I formed BCA Recruitment & Training in 2011 to ensure organizations throughout the US have everything they need to set their teams up for success.

I was recruited to reduce turnover, build a workplace culture of innovation and engagement, ACA transition and develop a solid talent acquisition strategy. 

I established seasonal staffing strategies utilizing the J1-Visa program. This initiative allowed the organization to build a workplace culture that was truly diverse and inclusive, provide an enhanced experience for guests and ultimately, drive profitability.

I reduced turnover by 46%, lead the implementation of UltiPro, a leading HRIS system, provided executive consulting to leaders throughout each facility and secured talent from 18 countries throughout the globe.

Technology Company

Responsibilities: Recruited to join this IT consulting start-up to create policies and processes around business development, sales and marketing, office management, accounting, operational systems and human resource programs. Created and maintained work order tracking systems and combined with incentive compensation rewards to ensure timely service for all clients. Designed and implemented business development programs to ensure rapid growth within the organization. 

Noted accomplishments:
	•	Crafted and implemented business management and strategy to ensure the organization could support rapid growth. 
	•	Reduced employee relation issues to a minimum through weekly and monthly feedback and strategy sessions to create a culture of inclusiveness. 
	•	Diversity staffing procedures to ensure the workforce was setup for high collaboration and innovation.
