Advised some of KPMG Vancouver's largest real estate clients including REITs, publicly traded partnerships, pension fund, and mortgage investment corporations. Worked closely with the clients' legal counsel on tax aspects of IPOs, private placement and other securities offerings.  Proven track record of leading large engagements including ones above $1 million of fee range. Achieved an average score of 9.6 out of 10 in client satisfaction surveys. 

Acted as the HR Partner of KPMG's tax practice in the Greater Vancouver Area from 2017 to 2021. Duties included recruiting, career development, performance evaluation and salary review for 300+ tax professionals of the firm. Actively involved in the firm's various initiatives to promote equity, diversity and inclusion as well as women in leadership.

Tax Partner

Provided tax advisory and compliance services to KPMG's public and private real estate clients. Experienced in real estate syndication projects and structuring investment vehicles such as partnerships and REITs.  Managed projects of various sizes including a $1.2 billion transaction involving the privatization of a publicly-traded REIT.

Functioned as the People Leader of KPMG Vancouver's financial institution and real estate tax group. Active in recruiting, people management, team building and mentoring of junior staff.

Career began at KPMG as an articling student in audit before transferring to the firm's tax practice as a Tax Specialist in 2000. Progressed to Tax Manager role in 2001.

With over 25 years of leadership experience, including as an equity partner at a top global accounting firm, I’ve had the privilege of working with high-performing teams, navigating complex financial landscapes, and advising senior executives at public and private companies on business transactions.

As a certified coach with emotional intelligence training and a decade of HR leadership experience, I bring a deep understanding of the psychology behind change, helping leaders drive transformation, empower teams, and build lasting trust.

My Journey
After achieving what many define as success, I realized true fulfillment required a deeper connection to purpose. This sparked a journey of self-discovery, exploring how early experiences and unspoken emotions shape leadership decisions.

What began as a personal quest evolved into a passion for guiding others. Today, I help leaders and organizations reconnect with purpose, align strategy with values, and drive sustainable success.
