For a stretch, I was the solo marketer—driving demand gen, running campaigns that fueled pipeline and bookings, and managing both paid and organic channels. I’ve also built out brand-focused marketing, making messaging our foundation and telling a story that attracts customers and wins us awards. I’ve launched podcasts, newsletters, blogs, and more—content that sets us apart from competitors 10x our size, driving meaningful organic growth. I led a marketing and media team of 15+ employees and interns at Bethany Global University, overseeing all aspects of marketing strategy, branding, messaging, and lead generation. During my time, we achieved the university’s largest enrollment year—during COVID—and launched a media brand that grew from 0 to 600,000 monthly visitors in just two years, entirely through organic growth. I rolled up my sleeves in every corner of marketing to ensure everything we did drove real growth and results.

While at Bethany International, I was recognized as the student-worker of the year.

I was responsibile for our online communications with prospective students and donors to Bethany Global University.

This included: managing all of our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Plus, etc). It also included responding to messages, comments, and reviews.

I was also responsible for helping maintain the websites for Bethany Global University, the LEAD Venture internship, and Bethany International.

In this job, I worked closely with an experienced marketer who was willing to spend time teaching and mentoring me in order to train me to be an all-star digital marketer.

Beyond Limits College

Oversee routine operations for Beyond Limits apartment living, and supervise on-site as necessary. Respond to emergencies immediately and provide direction to Beyond Limits Students in emergency situations.

Monitor and evaluate Beyond Limits apartment living and report progress, problems and solutions to Beyond Limits staff.

Maintain an appropriate apartment schedule and help students get to bed and wake up at appropriate times and in appropriate ways. Respond to deficiencies and implement recommendations for corrective action. Help Beyond Limits students navigate campus life and independent living. Help BL students learn and then navigate their schedules. Help Beyond Limits students build a bridge in connecting and making friends with other Bethany Students.

Engage and communicate with parents as needed and when they are dropping off and picking up students. Fill them in on how things are going and make them feel at ease and part of their student's college experience. Manage the cooking of 2-3 meals a week as a group in order to teach independent living and cooking skills.

Assist with personal care including eating and in the bathroom, hygiene, grooming, and general cleanliness. This includes being aware of areas that a student is struggling and needs extra help and prompting.

Teach and train students to help with cooking and housework. This includes discussing and implementing a plan for chores that works for everyone in the household.
