Experienced QSR multi-unit restaurant operations leader who now spends his time matching talent with opportunity, character with culture, and passion with an enabled environment. I own and operate QSR (Quick Service Recruiting, LLC). My company is dedicated to helping find both its clients and candidates the perfect fit. As a Recruiter, I go after the talent that LOVES what they do, are a TOP-PERFORMER in their group, and SERVANT LEADERSHIP is a CORE Value. I AM a QSR Operator who recruits, NOT a recruiter with some Ops Knowledge. I dedicate my time and focus on supporting the QSR Industry. I have full respect for all of the other segments in the Hospitality Industry; however, I want to serve a community which has invested in me all of my life. I had forgotten how many mentors, teachers, colleagues, and employees in this industry that have contributed to "who I am," over my career. Recently, many of my QSR friends have reached-out to me, and we talk about those crazy shifts, and experiences, where we sacrificed much so that the customer could be served. These memories and experiences bring me back, and remind me what operators deal with on a daily basis. These experiences allow me to talk fluently in QSR. Remembering the all-nighters preparing for Corporate Visits, and Brand Inspections. I have fond memories about making thousands of Western Bacon Cheeseburgers as a Crew Member at Carl's Jr. #288, off Claremont Mesa Blvd, or my first GM position at Taco Bell #2812 on Mission Gorge Road both in San Diego. Winning Presidents Awards at Carl's Jr. in Tucson and competing against the best GM team I have seen throughout my career. Dozens of new Store Openings, Dual Concepts, Remodels, and Turn-arounds where we lived where we worked until we got the job done. (The job is never done BTW). I loved my career as a QSR OPs Leader, as I made so many relationships that continue to last a life-time. This is who I look for when I am finding talent for clients; today's QSR operators, their stories, and their love for what they do. Using my twenty plus years in QSR OPs to help talented leadership teams find candidates that are coachable, have strong desire, and fit into their unique cultures. I have managed business units with up to $24M in revenue, coached and developed teams with up to 450 employees and 75 plus managers reporting to me and up to 29 locations. I love my job because I get to positively impact the lives of others; that is my value proposition. I completed my MBA at the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University in 2014.
