I advise companies, state and local governments, and other organizations on strategies that leverage federal clean energy funding programs and financial incentives to accelerate their decarbonization efforts. Over the next 10 years, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) will stimulate trillions of dollars in clean energy investment. In addition, tax and financial incentives in the IRA will result in significant re-shoring of clean energy and electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing and related supply chains to the United States. According to the ZERO LAB at Princeton University, IRA alone could drive nearly $3.5 trillion in cumulative capital investment in new energy supply infrastructure over the next decade. I have spent my entire career in and around the US public sector. I’m currently a senior executive with NSI, a state and local government consulting firm that’s generated over $35 billion in new revenue for its clients. Prior to NSI, I served as program manager on several government contracts that delivered energy and environmental consulting services to federal and state government clients. I began my career as a federal environmental regulator at the US EPA.
