For several years, I have been working as an engineering manager for teams in the field of Artificial Intelligence, particularly in Computer Vision. I have a highly product-oriented approach to team management, from defining projects and products to establishing key metrics and individual tasks. Nonetheless, I believe it's essential in this field to balance production activities with research, to stay aligned with the state-of-the-art in a rapidly and continuously evolving sector. For this reason, I enjoy working in startup environments, where efficiency in product development is necessary, but innovation remains key. In my role, I oversee the entire team management, from defining Machine Learning pipelines to the technical design of systems that run models. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on various models, always at the cutting edge of the state-of-the-art, in highly stimulating environments and on projects that are challenging from many perspectives. I enjoy working in open environments with people who believe in what they create and who motivate each other to advance both personal and company growth. My background in theoretical and computational physics adds a strong foundation to my AI work.
