Data Analyst - Business Analyst: Data Analysis, SQL, Excel, VBA

Honored to have spent over 9 years at Napa State Hospital. My primary responsibilities include data analysis and management, process improvement, and working cross-functionally with partners in the nursing staff, IT, and upper management. 

- Designed and developed a dashboard that enables the organization to track and categorize patient reports using Excel and Sharepoint. Dashboard reduced reporting turnaround time from 3 days to 1 hour, saving the hospital several hundreds of thousands of dollars 

- Designed and developed an app to automate, streamline and simplify the patient data collection process using Power Query, SQL and VBA 

- Experiences in using SQL and Power Query to query patient data for reporting requirements 

- The “Go-To Person” in the department due to a strong track record of solving ambiguous problems and successful collaboration with external stakeholders
