If you had to ask what makes me tick, I’d tell you; tech startups, SaaS, and crypto. Why? Because my exposure to the tech ecosystem has afforded me the valuable notion that innovative startups are the catalysts for true economic growth worldwide - and I want to be a part of that. From an early age, I knew that I didn’t want to pursue a “traditional career”, and towards the end of my marketing degree, found myself working for an exciting technology startup. Some people thought I was crazy taking on a role at such a young company with a small salary, but it’s what I wanted to do. I have always had a long term mindset and understand that great things don’t happen overnight. Over the course of my tenure, I not only got great exposure to the inner workings of the startup world but also made life-long friends in the process. Since then, I was hooked and I, along with two co-founders, started Froth Technologies. Froth is a marketing platform for independent coffee shops in Cape Town with the aim of driving foot traffic to our partner shops, helping them with customer engagement and retention, and making the purchasing process for customers easier through QR code payments.
