It is a highly technical job that requires expert technical knowledge, solution design, leadership, communication, technical documentation, and project management skills.

Migration Architect - Sr. Implementation Manager

I specialized in consulting with new and existing Savvis customers to help them optimize and improve their infrastructure architecture in the areas of Cloud Adoption (Private/Public), Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Assessment & Enablement, Infrastructure Automation and Server Virtualization. Highlights include: DRBC assessment for a Federal Bank, Writing code using agile methodology for a Fortune 50 brand, and migrating over 100 marketing websites/applications to a Savvis datacenter in less than 90 days, and designing solutions for customers.

Infrastructure Optimization Solutions Architect

Senior UNIX Engineer in the Global Operations Support Center designated to supporting Savvis top 50 customers. Obtained RHCE in November, 2010. Responsibilities include team lead for offshore engineering resources, designing and implementing new solutions and supporting day to day operations & projects for high profile mission-critical customers. Responsible for hundreds of UNIX servers running on the HP, Egenera, Sun, and VMware/ESX platforms in standalone, managed, and private Cloud environments. Key responsibilities included: engineering and administrating UNIX OS, Veritas cluster configuration and administration, advanced VMware skills, LDAP and Active Directory with Two-Factor Authentication, postfix/sendmail engineering, DNS management, NFS and autofs, package management using Red Hat Satellite Network, OS security/bug fix patching, heavy documentation, visio designs, IaaS, SaaS. Participated in research and design projects intended for cloud computing customers and developed many new enhancements for the Savvis Red Hat Linux image and a 'email as a service' SaaS product offering.

Although I am very technical as a Red Hat Certified Engineer and official Amazon Alexa Developer Champion, I’m also great with teams, customers, and recognized as an outgoing and a memorable speaker/technology evangelist who has presented on stage at TedX St. Louis and at IT conferences like AWS re:Invent, Dynatrace Perform, SxSW, and more.  I've started several tech companies, been through a top Startup Accelerator (Capital Innovators), and raised VC money.  ✨ 

The thing I am most proud of? I own the largest water lily farm in North America, the Bee Fork Water Gardens, where I’m trying to create a generational business that grows and sells beautiful plants that make people happy. 🪷 ❤️
