I am Bukola Ayeni, popularly known as #BukolaDigital. I aspire to be a rare breed of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Expert that blends it with Indepth knowledge of Economics and Business Strategy to achieve organisational goals of revenue growth, brand awareness, image and reputation. I am a born leader who is bold, imaginative, and strong-willed, always finding a way or making one. I use my drive, determination, and sharp mind to achieve whatever objectives I set for myself. Every brand has a story, and for almost a decade, I’ve made it my mission to help organisations tell theirs with clarity, creativity, and impact. Starting at Business School Netherlands (BSN), where I worked across brand management, corporate communications, marketing, PR, and agency relations, I mastered connecting strategy with storytelling. Today, I bring that experience to my role as Team Lead, External Communications at Union Bank of Nigeria, where I shape narratives that strengthen reputation, inspire trust, and drive engagement with diverse stakeholders. One of the biggest transformations in my career is Toastmasters. Now, the Immediate Past President at BSN Toastmasters Club, among other leadership roles, didn’t just make me a more confident public speaker and communicator; it built my resilience, sharpened my leadership, & taught me the power of influence. I’ve earned an MBA from Business School Netherlands, a B.Sc. in Mass Communication, and certifications from global institutions, including the Digital Marketing Institute (UK) and McKinsey Forward. I was honoured to be recognised among YALI Lagos’s 30 Most Influential Women (2021), a reminder that my work impacts brands and people.
