His experience covered both launching innovative products and business development areas. As a CEO at Meredot, Roman is responsible for implementing product strategy, establishing market leadership, and driving the company through its next wave of growth as Light Electric Vehicles with Meredot’s wireless charging solutions become commercially available. With the establishment of Meredot in 2017, Roman and the team developed the high-power wireless energy transmission system in stealth mode, officially launching the company in 2019. Before his role at Meredot, Roman held the position of CTO at Black Nova, a global leader in smart home and hospitality automation systems. Throughout work at Black Nova, Roman demonstrated entrepreneurial prowess by conceiving and launching innovative hardware, firmware, and software system solutions. Roman holds an M.E. degree in electrical engineering from Technical University in Chernihiv, Ukraine, awarded in 2011.
