My name is Caiden Simpson, I live in York and I started my karting career in 2021 aged 8. My parents always said I had a distinctive talent for driving, even from the age of 3 years old. My first wheels were a 24-volt battery tractor that I had when I was 3 years old. I was very soon in the fastest gear and by the age of 4 I found it was too slow for me. My parents then bought me a quad bike for my 4th birthday! I loved the quad so much, and I was soon doing stunts on it and pushing the quad to its limit. Eventually though my Dad said the quad wasn't fast enough for me anymore and that I needed something where I could continue to develop my natural driving skills!  For my 8th birthday my Mum and Dad bought me my very first kart with a Rotax Micromax engine. From there I have not looked back. I spent most of 2021 just practising and testing the kart as well as competing in several races. At the start of 2022 I entered into the Cadet Karting Championship (CKC) which is a national championship, and I am currently racing all over the UK. My biggest achievement so far is being the Vice Champion for the Teesside Winter and Sprint Series 2022. I also had a podium finish in the 1st round of the CKC national championship 2022.  My ultimate goal and dream are to race in Formula 1 and I am determined to achieve my dreams. ​ I am actively looking for support from companies and brands who want to partner with me to help me to progress to the next level and make my dreams become a reality.
