I ran a popular extracurricular service during weekdays for young learners in between my studies. Nature School focused on providing experiential learning activities, helping children to become more aware of thier natural surroundings, while instilling a positive 'no harm' ethos towards the all living things- big and small- that one may encounter in the environment. And having fun of course!

Gained experince in a wide range of fields such as literature and field research. Human resource management and administration. I wrote monthly popular articles for the local paper and gave public presentations. I developed environmental education activities as well as helped start an organic vegatable garden project with unemployed youths from the community. I also had exposure to the operations of a plant nursery e.g. plant propagation from cuttings and seed etc.

I'm an intensely curious individaul with a passion for people and the environment. I'm a recent Nature Conservation Advanced Diploma graduate (2022) Currently studying towards a BSc Honours in Natural Resource Management.

I have experience in data collection and analysis in R, habitat and species monitoring, environmental education and community engagement. 

During the 2020 lockdown I discovered a new found interest and passion for sustainable agriculture after helping to start a community organic vegtable gardening project, which supplied fresh greens, to the Prince Albert Community Trust feeding scheme for children from struggling families. 

Furthermore, I have excellent written comunication skills in both formal and informal settings, with a keen eye for what constitutes a good turn of phrase, and rhythm guaranteed to keep the reader interested.
