Callum is an Consultant at Aurex Group in Hong Kong. Working within the Greater China team, he specialises in the sales and business development functions across Aurex Group’s real estate and infrastructure client base. Callum helps align with client strategies and builds candidate talent pools to meet the needs of ongoing search mandates in the current market. 

He originally moved to the city as a professional sportsman for the Hong Kong national rugby squad and has since transitioned his career to real estate recruitment while still playing premier grade rugby union for the Hong Kong Football Club.

Base Camp Academy 

At Base Camp, We are dedicated as a sports coaching company and coaching professionals to help the children explore as many sports as possible whilst playing a role in the development and education of the child through sport. 

Base Camp Academy is a Sports & Activities Coaching Business that I founded when the Covid-19 pandemic struck, stranding kids at home with nearly all sports programs closed. There was a big market for sports programs that ran small groups & came to your front door, which is what base camp provided. 

I managed all clients, regarding pay, timings, customer service needs, etc. I started out with 
one client w/ two kids doing one on ones, built up to now having over 50 clients & 80+
kids, ages ranging from 3-12. Groups from one on one to one on 5 etc. 

I organize all groups & schedules I create all session plans & have appointed three coaches 
to carry out the sessions with me as a business team.

As a full-time athlete, I was constantly challenged both physically and mentally.  I continually developed my competitive nature as well as an understanding of the importance of teamwork, determination, and perseverance. My dedication and hard work was recognized by the senior coaching staff and HKRFU 
administrators; via my contract extension in 2018. Self-discipline and the ability to perform under pressure are strengths that I’ve developed over the three and a half years in that professional environment. 

HKRU terminated the development program in January of 2021.
