Prior to the company closing its operations in October 2023, I was responsible for delivering data-driven insights and consulting services to Convoy's shippers. Together, my team and I equipped our sales org, engaged directly with our customers (frequently Fortune 500 supply chain leaders), and developed insight products that set the company apart. It was quite common to hear from a shipper "We've never seen anything like this before" during our presentations. 

We developed products like:
-the Seller Playbook: a guide for sales on how to use best-in-class insights, 
-the 2022 Freight Insights Report: Convoy's leading generator of click-through engagements, and
-Facility Alerts: real-time notifications to shippers when Convoy's driver ratings started to drop, a proven leading indicator that accessorial costs were about to spike.

Uniquely positioned between sales, marketing, and executive leadership, my team became the go-to data engineers/analysts/strategists/jack-of-all-trades that everyone wished were on their team (and judging by the amount of people who asked for our help, you'd think that we were!). During the penultimate RIF that reduced the company's headcount by 30%, the shipper insights team added members.
