I love to truly understand different businesses, their owners, and what makes them tick. From what motivated someone to leap into their own business in the first place to what’s worked for them so far and what they’re having problems with. I relish being able to offer up a different perspective and contribute to generating possible solutions to conundrums. Having a background in accountancy I also understand that for many business owners, finance, tax and corporate structures equal headaches, confusion and glazed eyes. So, it’s my role to educate and empower them so they feel as comfortable discussing the financial aspects of business as their core product. However, as we aren’t all numerically minded, I use visual tools to connect the business owner with their numbers in a comfortable way that resonates with them.
