I am a detail nerd focused on big-picture impact. I help organizations who want their investment in diversity and community impact will make a real impact. These nonprofits, government organizations, and/or private entities are interested in how each part of their external efforts AND internal operations can impact the world around them. I started my career building programs for under-resourced communities from health programs for women and children to establishing medical supply chains for Emergency Funded countries. This put me at many tables explaining how to strategically approach big community-impacting problems with coordinated efforts. And at these tables, I paid attention to how we interacted on a human level. What reactions we showed and which we hid. When people's passions shined through and when frustration would surface. This led me to learn more through study of society, technology, and community movements. Now I combine my formal project management and operations training with my study of people, diversity, and workplace trends to bring a holistic approach to affecting change. Sometimes this means: - Managing the design and execution of diversity or community strategies. - Reviewing HR policies to make sure they are attracting talent that relates to your community served - Establishing training programs that are relatable and applicable to your work - Producing inclusive and engaging content or even just figuring it out together.
