Responsible for vendor and contract management and establishing a governance framework within which constituents operate during and post project delivery.

•	Delivered a $500M project within 9 months to implement a global research authoring and distribution platform to over 250 users across 4 regions (Canada, US, UK and Australia) and integrating with 10 different in-house and vendor applications.
•	Chaired working, operating and executive steering committees comprising of cross functional teams and provided status, raised issues or risks and presented options and recommend course of action for decision by the project sponsor(s).
•	Managed business analyst to gather requirements, lead technical and business testing phase and support technology applications. 
•	Managed all phases of the SDLC with the global development team in development of solutions to allow integration of vendor products with in-house applications.
•	Managed the release cycles of global research applications and of applications supporting the global equity new-issue process for institutional and retail sales.

Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic new business opportunities, technologies and services for business partners within CM and ERPM.  Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships across the organization and with vendors at all levels. Responsible for vendor and contract management and for managing the IT investment plan for the portfolio under my responsibility. 

• Project lead for a $10MM project to automate and drive efficiencies in Corporate Finance Division’s (CFD) lending and credit adjudication process.  Project had the potential of increasing revenue by approximately $35MM over 5 years.
• Accelerated the technology rollout of an asset inventory management system and lending suite of systems for the new dealership finance department, delivering the solution in less than 5 months.
• Consolidated technology license subscriptions used by different lines of businesses resulting in $70M USD savings per year
• Developed the long-term technology vision for Harris business banking to be used in conjunction with enhanced businesses processes with the potential to increase revenue.
• Managed multiple lending and risk technology projects affecting multiple lines of businesses and technology areas from business case development, vendor selection, contract negotiation, project initiation, technology planning, vendor management to implementation and delivery. 
• Chaired executive steering committees, led cross-functional teams and reported on issues or risks and recommend course of action and mitigations. 
• Managed business analysts and developers to support technology applications and delivery of solutions.

Senior Business Consultant, Enterprise Risk & Portfolio Management

Responsible for strategy development, solution development and vendor relationship management of the remittance and deposit services suite of solutions within Global Treasury Management (formerly Cash Management Services). Provided team leadership through setting expectations, assigning tasks, providing coaching and mentoring, and ensuring a high performance culture.

•  Spearheaded a $10MM program to convert a multi-million dollar lockbox operation (with over 500 customers) from in-house to a service provider platform within a 6 month timeframe thereby saving $12MM in additional costs. The move was achieved with no interruption in service, on schedule and within budget
•  Created a market-focused product development and launch process that would enable efficient and successful delivery of new product initiatives.
•  Developed deposit strategy to increase net interest earnings.  Strategy had the potential to increase revenues by $1.3MM per annum from 40% of the targeted client base.
•  Managed all elements of the assigned product portfolio – features, risk, profitability and performance along with establishing and negotiating Service Level Agreements with internal and external partners and service providers.
•  Managed partnerships with external vendors including Symcor and BCE Emergis and internal Technology groups. Operational and Service Review forums held with vendors ensuring that appropriate actions taken where required.
•  Developed and monitored the group’s annual Investment plans – ensured all business cases for product were sound and profitable and provide necessary input into pricing.
•  Provided input to client sales calls as required for large corporate clients contributing to high customer retention and increased sales.

•	Developed a comprehensive managed wireless digital identity service strategy and service offering to expand Scotiabank’s current managed security services.  
•	Managed a project with technology partners to provide best-of-class wireless security and applications that would leverage Scotiabank’s managed security service infrastructure.
•	Provided training for sales about wireless security and Scotiabank’s wireless security initiatives.
•	Delivered collateral plan and collateral content for focused and consistent messaging.  This helped to cut sales cycle by 20%.

Managed security products and security features in 724 Solutions’ product lines based on customer needs and technology direction.  Spokesperson and subject matter expert on wireless security and security initiatives.

•  Launched the first Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Gateway product to the market. This was accomplished through successful management and co-ordination of a project involving two external partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure on-time completion and quality of all deliverables to meet the product launch date.
