Cyrus is the CEO of Maamba Energy which is Zambia’s largest coal mine and along with its 300 MW power plant is also the largest independent power producer of Zambia. Prior to this, Cyrus was the Head HR for Tata Projects' three Business Verticals viz International Business, Transportation and Transmission & Distribution. Responsible for HR strategy, Organisation Design, Business productivity and HR metrics, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, JV management, international deployments and statutory compliance. Cyrus has also been responsible for ensuring a global footprint for Tata Projects. He has been responsible for formulating the HR strategy in SE Asia, South Asia, Middle East, Africa and Brazil. Cyrus has also headed the Logistics and Materials Management function of Tata Projects. He has extensive experience in imports / export cargo using multi modal transport systems. Along with the HR function, he has also headed the Administration function for Tata Projects with responsibility for the Corporate office, three regional offices, a manufacturing plant and approximately 70 project sites globally. As an Army veteran, Cyrus has served in active operations and has handled multiple complex projects and situations. Cyrus enjoys outdoor sports, is a voracious reader and he loves buying more books that he can currently read.
