I directed my career to data science after understanding the potential of data to leverage business decisions — and how it can be entertaining! While conducting the Machining with Machine Learning project that led to my Master's Dissertation, I learned advanced data science concepts to develop an artificial neural network model for industrial use. The model enabled the prediction of complex manufacturing process results with 96% accuracy. Today, after 2+ years of working with data science and analytics, I have been on several projects using analytics, data engineering, data storytelling, and data analysis. All of these aimed to use the data as an asset to reach business objectives, such as budget planning and financial reporting. Since 2017, I have been working on R&D projects in collaboration with the industry to solve business problems. Through those years, I worked as a researcher, lead project acquisition, lead business models, project manager, and operational manager. I participated in several projects with 40+ partner companies/entities. Also, I worked in German for one year, and back in Brazil, I still conducted weekly English-spoken meetings and presentations with teammates from Germany. During this period, contact with decision-making people from several-sector companies enhanced my understanding of the dynamics of innovation & business development. It brought extensive experience in "business pain points" understanding. I am a curious, analytical, fast self-learner, willing to keep learning. And last but not least: a data enthusiast!
