I enjoy leveraging the power of data storytelling, to connect audiences to the world around them. Data and research are powerful tools I’ve utilized, to develop policy, improve agency operations, as well as better understand and meet the needs of communities served. Each work and life experience, throughout my 10 years in the public sector and non-profit, has driven further my passion for snowballing tangible change in our communities, through data-driven work. My diverse Caribbean background has influenced my love for working with diverse populations, as well as my interpersonal skills, that aide me in navigating cultural and language barriers. My life and work experiences have given me the ability to be innovative, agile, and resourceful in problem-solving. My love for learning has always caused me to be self-motivated and creative, in utilizing available resources, to gain skills and tools beneficial to any department and organization. Much of my experience has been in analytics and program development, with focuses on youth and families, marginalized communities, and animal welfare.
