MILVEST

•	MILVEST stands for Military Veteran Skilling for Transition. It is an EdTech that creates customised skilling programs for Transitioning Military Veterans, and includes military spouses and Dependents among its participants. It is a bouquet offering for the military community, offering organic management development programs by MILVEST itself and  skill-based certifications under collaboration with industry  partners. It also facilitates Corporate Mentorship programmes, personalised mentoring, informative webinars & more.

•	As Director – MILVEST, responsible for design, execution and stability of the program, impact monitoring, managing stakeholders, community engagement and corporate communication. Acquired, Trained, Skilled & certified over 1000 Armed Forces Officers, also helped skill another 3000+ participants in flexi-mode in past 18 months.

•	Led ZEAL, a new age Education venture by ZingHR on Digital skills and Industry Certification for HR professionals. 
•	Raised a new team, curated relevant content and developed the product.  
•	Delivered University &  Industry Certification Programs to experienced, young and budding HR Professionals.

Indian Navy 

Providing Thought Leadership towards CSR activities on the mandated category ' for the welfare of Armed Forces Veterans War Widows and Dependants' category.

Strategy Leader and Founding Member -    CSR Core Team, Indian Navy          
•	Pioneered a whitepaper on ‘CSR for Defence Veterans’ in year 2016.
•	Formulated the Navy CSR Strategy blueprint.
•	Steered the roadmap in direct consultation with highest Naval Leadership. 
•	Collaborated extensively with Industry, Corporates, CSR experts, & Government Agencies.

Indian Navy CSR Core Team - Founding Member

•	Led multiple Projects involving 45 Project Managers and their Teams. 
•	Responsible for Acceptance and Operational trials of weapons & sensors, fitted on warships and  strategic units located  across the western maritime theatre. 
•	Required extensive coordination, planning and stakeholder engagement with national agencies and international vendors.
•	Achieved a record feat of ensuring Operational readiness of over 150 strategic units in 40 months..

Executive Director / Program Manager- Captain of Trials

•	Operational Excellence & Strategic Analysis. Operations-Lead for conduct of national-level maritime & strategic war-gaming. Provided strategic & operational inputs to highest stakeholders in the Navy.  
•	Training & Development.  Designed and conducted training for 5000 senior specialists on Naval Operations using naval war-gaming complex  and ship-handling simulators. 
•	Organised ‘Maritime Conference-2016’ with active participation from agencies across domains including Government, Law enforcement, Security, Merchant Shipping and International bodies.
•	Officers Induction & and Sailors Recruitment	Conducted Campus Recruitment for Officers candidates under University Entry Schemes and Sailors Recruitment on large scale.

Chief Trainer and Operations Lead - Maritime Warfare Centre

•	Undertook research & analysis for Ministry of Defence on geo-strategic, economic, and politico-social issues along with identification of potential conflicts/ flash points across the globe. This contributed to formulation of national strategies, and economic policy in consultation with highest stakeholders in MoD, MEA, and Army/ Navy/ Air Force HQs.

Joint Director, Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA)

•	Successfully conceptualized and executed strategic Infrastructure Projects at Naval Headquarters, Delhi worth Rs 50 crores. Involved planning, execution and direct monitoring of  large-scale civil construction project,  stakeholder management and coordination with multiple agencies including military, civil and business sector.
•	Negotiated contracts worth 10 Cr and accrued budgetary savings of at least INR 01 Cr by cost optimisation and early completion of Projects.

Project Manager – Integrated Headquarters Ministry of Defence (Navy)	

•	Led a nationally prestigious Project for setting-up the infrastructure of Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala. Involved transforming a 3000-acre reserve forest into military training academy and complex issues related to land acquisition, setting up operational infrastructure, large scale commercial contracts, manpower recruitment, other functions such as finance, accounts, estate management etc. 
•	Stakeholder Management: This strategic project was inaugurated by then PM Shri Manmohan Singh, and therefore involved close working and liaison with Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), high-level functionaries in Ministry of Defence, Navy HQ, Ministry of Finance, Kerala Government, Police, Intelligence and security agencies. 
•	RFP & Contract Management: Executed contracts worth 20 Cr for establishing infrastructure overlay & associated services, setting to work of various verticals, inauguration and commissioning ceremonies.
•	Recruitment and Management (HRM) of Civilian Staff	Undertook large scale recruitment for raising of New Academy. Recruited over 1000 employees and managed civilian workforce over entire gamut of HR functions.

Project Manager  -Indian Naval Academy:  Project completion & Inauguration

•	 As the Commanding Officer, was responsible for end-to-end activities on the warship under my Command including formulation of Vision-Mission, comprehensive strategy blueprint and its execution. It also involved Operations & War-fighting, Logistics, Human Resource management, morale and motivation, discipline, training, welfare, safety & security.

Captain (Leadership Role) of Indian Naval Warship at Mumbai

•	Conducted sea-based international sporting events with military teams from 50 nations across the globe.

Organiser, Military World Games & World Military Sailing Championship 

•	Formed key part of the team involved in a turnkey project ‘Commissioning of a new warship’ of Indian Navy in collaboration with Garden Reach Ship Builders & Engineers (GRSE) Kolkata.

Undertook naval Operations on frontline warships in the Initial 12 years of commissioned Naval service. Handled a large bouquet of functions from Operations specialist to HR, Training , Admistration, safety and security

A veteran military leader who served in Armed Forces (Indian Navy) for 27 years, till year 2020. I now contribute to initiatives, engagements, projects, processes and people with my current Leadership role at Sambhav Kadam Foundation and MILVEST EdTech for military community. A brief foray into  an Industry Edtech start-up on new-age digital HR skills and Consuling  on Veteran Programs adds to my limited above-mentioned  professional experience.

I create and lead lean and agile teams, and enthuse passion into them while delivering consistent and accurate results. I fix problems and create solutions - simple and effective. A self-starter,  I aim for Process Excellence through Design thinking approach. I am also a fan of process automation and would prefer to be data driven. I consistently work to achieve Six Sigma standards in Quality. Empathy is something I constantly aim to develop, getting better at it with my piling-up years and experience.  I identify closely with broader metrics of success than  the top or bottom line alone. Relations, Community and co-creation remain my top-priority. I have a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
