As a Principal Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), I lead the Paramedic team, by providing the strategic vision and management of our programs. My responsibilities include the development and leadership of various academic courses, including the CertHE Ambulance Technician Practice, MSc Paramedic Science, BSc Paramedic Science, and the Apprenticeship BSc Paramedic Science. My academic and research work focuses on enhancing paramedic practice by integrating research, clinical practice, and education. I am involved in key research projects that cover areas such as simulation-based education, addressing workplace violence in clinical settings, and promoting cultural awareness. In addition to my academic responsibilities, I am an active member of the editorial board for the Journal of Paramedic Practice. I am also a Geographical Education Lead for the College of Paramedics, sitting on the Paramedic Education Network. As an Executive Member of the European Prehospital Research Network, I contribute to shaping paramedic education at both national and international levels.
