Shanghai Disney Resort is a one-of-a-kind destination featuring Shanghai Disneyland (with seven themed lands), two Resort hotels, Disneytown, Wishing Star Park and more. My role was on the Internal Communications team. Our mission? To keep Cast (employees) informed, entertained, connected, and inspired throughout their Disney journeys on internal platforms including web, TV, email, and an employee App.

Here are a few specifics for my role:

• Writing internal executive messages, speeches, and video scripts for leaders ranging from operations directors to the President and General Manager
• Lead the CastTV News program, a weekly video series to reinforce local and global Company communications priorities to employees via fun video content 
• Writing and editing English communications for all teams across SHDR, focusing on HR, CSR, and major events
• Whole project video production, including scripting, filming and editing short videos for TV
• Working closely with the Creative team to ensure quality of photo and video footage for documentation and recaps
• Leading employee engagement projects, including two Disney trivia projects (content, lucky draw, roadshows, etc)
• Wrote top-notch product copy for new livestreaming feature on the Cast+ employee App; UAT and function testing

Horizons is an EOR service provider in serving employers globally. In joining their marketing department, based in Shanghai, I was added to a diverse team of talents from France, New Zealand, India, and Germany. We were collaborating remotely and achieved impressive results together, particularly in our SEO efforts. We completely revamped the Horizons website together shortly before departing at approximately the same time.

• Worked with a team of 5 to grow website traffic from 23,000 monthly visitors to over 200,000/m in the first year
• Synchronized the work of freelancers and the direction of company executives for holistic project deliveries
• Managed ‘Country Guides’ project—195 countries’ guides focused on local employment law and hiring practices

Horizons is one of the most prolific up-and-coming EOR service providers in Asia and elsewhere. They provide a high quality of service to their clients. I started as a recruiter for them in 2021. I learned a lot, but in the end, found that recruitment isn't for me long-term. We liked working together though, so they gave me an opportunity to join their blossoming marketing department. • Increased year-to-year sales by 33%
• Managed a small team lead to improvement of guide content and development of an English version; increased content length by 40%-50%
• Became familiar with target industries and increased distribution network by more than 100%
