Student Office Assistant

Differentiated instruction for a diverse group of students. Organized small study groups for struggling students, grade level students, and advanced students. Taught in a departmentalized setting specializing in Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics. Utilized ActivInspire for Promethean Board to support my lessons. Tested students regularly to monitor progress.

Student Teaching

Facilitated programs educating college students about safety regarding drugs and alcohol. We also collaborate with other campus organizations such as LGBTQIA and SVVA to reach out to the student population and create a more accepting community.

Wellness Peer Educator

Differentiated instruction for students. Taught spelling, math, language arts, science, and social studies to 24 students. Managed a small reading group of five to seven students focusing on RTI program implemented by school. Created a variety of visual aids to supplement lessons. Used technology effectively by utilizing projectors and Smart Board technology. Reflected consistently to benefit students' learning as well as my own.

I was in charge of the well being of 50 or more residents at a time while implementing and enforcing floor and building rules.  I planned and conducted floor meetings, participated in continued education trainings, and engaged and assisted in campus programming. I also participated in several advertising campaigns for Edinboro University as well as new student orientation, family weekends, freshman common hour, and ran as the 2012 Residence Life homecoming candidate.
