I’m Carmen Morin, and I'm based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 🇨🇦  I'm an Instructional Design Strategist, Digital Marketer and Educator.

A few things about me:

 1️⃣  My background and first love is as a concert pianist and educator. Some recognitions in that space include:

▪️ I debuted as soloist with orchestra at 10 years old, which led to a performance tour on behalf of the Canadian Embassy.

▪️ Received First prize in international piano competition in Europe, which led to European debut performance with orchestra in Portugal.

▪️ First teacher in Western Canada inducted into the Steinway & Sons Teacher Hall of Fame in New York.

2️⃣  I'm a proud recipient of Avenue Magazine's Top 40 under 40 for Calgary.

3️⃣ I currently serve as Vice-Chair of Honens International Piano Competition, one of the world's most prestigious piano competitions.

4️⃣  I was an instructor at our City's University before opening my commercial school in 2013. Morin Music Ltd. is now a thriving 7-figure business with over 1000 local students in our brick-and-mortar location.

5️⃣ I then launched our school's online programs in 2018. I quickly fell in love with online education, digital marketing and the art of instructional design.
