I'm a computational linguist who has developed software for forensic linguistics called ALIAS (Automated Linguistic Identification and Assessment System) and validated the implemented methods independent of any litigation, (some of which have already passed the scrutiny of Daubert and Frye hearings for admissible evidence). My method for authorship identification is patented and has high reliability from text messages to blog posts to emails to judicial rulings. My goals now are (i) to partner with other forensic scientists who are seeking to improve forensic techniques related to pattern evidence and to strengthen current forensic sciences and (ii) to continue supporting law enforcement, lawyers, private individuals and corporate security whenever language is potential evidence in crimes and civil disputes.
