PROJECT 1: Redesigning the Onboarding User Flow

• Conducted quantitative research (Google Analytics) to either validate or invalidate the hypothesis that 20% of new users who download the app don't enter a single body measurement because of interface friction in the onboarding flow
• Designed an in-app survey to recruit new users for user interviews and usability testing of the existing onboarding flow
• Carried out user interviews with participants to figure out any general pain points with recording and tracking body measurements and BMI
• Carried out usability testing and user interviews with the target user
• Analyzed and synthesizing the research collected from the user interview and usability testing phase
• Created user personas, user journey maps, task and user flow diagrams, and a storyboard to inform the design solution process
• Devised a UX strategy focusing on removing any interface friction and confusion within the onboarding flow

Deliverables:
•	Carried out secondary research, as well as a competitor analysis of similar media-player app companies

•	Designed a high-fidelity prototype, which was tested with users in two rounds of usability testing

SoundKrave

An e-commerce website for a company that sells budget friendly home-decor items to renters and home owners. This was completed as part of a five day modified Google Venture Design Sprint.

Deliverables:
•	Analyzed existing research gathered from user interviews, and distilled the most important data points into a user persona
•	Carried out a competitor analysis of comparable e-commerce websites
•	Rapidly sketched and designed a prototype, which was then iterated upon in response to two rounds of usability testing

An iOS mobile app that uses GPS technology and audio to educate people about the value of plants around them.

Deliverables:
•	Carried out user surveys and secondary research to confirm whether plant blindness is a problem
•	Synthesized findings from the research into an affinity map, user persona, and ‘how might we?’ questions
•	Sketched various design solutions in response to the outcome of the research 
•	Created a site map of the chosen design solution and the user flows of the red routes for it
•	Designed low/medium-fidelity wireframes
•	Created a high-fidelity iOS app prototype in response to the feedback generated from two rounds of usability testing

• Strategized and collaborated with another UX designer to create a high-fidelity, clickable prototype of a website based on the design-thinking process
• Worked with the client to create a project plan that let them know when to expect all of the deliverables
