American living in Osaka, Japan for a few years chasing a dream to live abroad and a love of travel. Working as a business English instructor and cross cultural communications coach, supporting corporations in Japan who are looking to expand internationally. My clients are Japanese professionals across industries like manufacturing and pharmaceutical looking to build communication skills with their clients and colleagues in Europe, US, Canada, and around the world. We work on various business skills from negotiating contracts to facilitating a ZOOM meeting across several time zones. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had at work: somehow I get to bring my 7 years in the US tech world, international sales experience, passion for enabling sales people, and love of correcting grammar into this role. Japanese corporate culture is fascinating and most days I learn more than my students do. I'm also the co-host of Rep Matters, a podcast for sales professionals who are eager to build their business acumen and become top performers.
