As featured on BBC One Show and many other media, Raising the Baa helps develop teams like no other training company in the world.

At Raising the Baa we entertain, disrupt, frustrate and ultimately celebrate with groups of business-people through a ewe-nique team building activity - herding sheep.  

Capitalising on over 30 years of my partner's shepherding experience and our 10 years of independent business owner mentoring and coaching, this combines our passion for personal development, team-work, the outdoors and livestock.

Recent clients include Boots, Zimmer Biomet, Dreams, Motorola and McCarthy Stone. Many other well-known companies over the last 11 years are often surprised by what can be learned from the world of shepherding.

To meet demand across the UK we continue to build our network of Raising the Baa associate facilitators to deliver fun, transformational programmes to business and sporting teams.

To realise this expansion we are seeking reputable and established training companies (and enterprising sheep farmers) who would like to offer something truly left-field to their clients.

Alongside my personal fitness training business (established 2001) I became a Business Owner with Forever - The Aloe Vera Company. By applying its network marketing business model, my partner Chris and I built and mentored a global team of distributors and were regional trainers for the company.

Thanks to my involvement with Forever, which holds Investor in People Champion status, I received the best of training in the areas of personal development and coaching which helped me to 'grow' personally and mentor our team.

Left the corporate world to be my own boss fuelled by my somewhat late in life passion in life for fitness and nutrition.

Tailored fitness programmes for clients on a 1:1 basis at their home and immediate environment; includes nutritional analysis and healthy consumption recommendations.  Since many of my personal training clients are entrepreneurs, our sessions almost always comprise 2-way mentoring and coaching too - a unique additional offering to the fitness regime!

In 2010 I established Get Running, a beginners' running course in my local area. The 7-10 week course culminated in its participants being able to complete a local 5k running event.
I continue to coach beginners and returners to running on a voluntary basis through Devizes Running Club.

Small fish in huge ocean to significant creature in a growing pond. I replaced one of the founding directors and led the Agency’s highest revenue account: the champagne division of Remy-Cointreau, based in Reims, France. Also secured business from Terry's (chocolate), Jaguar and Tate & Lyle.

Wrote my application on yellow paper to make myself stand out to an agency that was the go-to place for young marketing wannabe's at the time. Turned up for the interview to find the converted wharf offices (really out there in the 80s) decked out in yellow. Serendipity at work then!
FKB enjoyed phenonemonal growth during the 80s and I was proud to be an increasing contributor, promoting biscuits, beer, hotels, cosmetics, tobacco (no!!), motorway service stations and - er - Durex.
