PANDAS Foundation UK (Pre and Postnatal Depression Advice and Support)

I'm a volunteer for the Pandas Foundation, supporting women and men with perinatal mental illness

Volunteer

ER Manager 
o	Creation and implementation of all collateral to support the business through periods of industrial action
o	Training delivered to support senior HR teams, senior leaders and managers through the period of industrial action
o	Main point of contact for all Covid-19 communications out to the business during peak lockdown periods, working with other key stakeholders including the wellbeing and HR Reward teams, the Trade Unions and employee forums.  
o	Worked closely with the unions around implementing safe working spaces, critical workers, home working and escalations. 
o	Lead and implement strategic ER projects and programmes to support the Group People Strategy and delivery of the Group wide ER agenda.
o	Regular engagement with CWU/Prospect key stakeholders
o	Lead consultation on HR policy creation/changes and implementation
o	Support consultation on Group policy changes
o	Lead and support consultation on organisational changes
o	Creation and implementation a number of HR policies
o	Trade union negotiations
o	Creation of proposals and stakeholder engagement
o	Provide project specific reorganisation training to the business
o	Support HRBP's and senior business leaders in developing their own skills and experience in dealing with unions / employee representatives.
o	Create and deliver online training resources for line managers and employees 
o	Take case escalations from the unions where there is a complex issue that needs intervention. Work with the case and other appropriate teams to resolve
o	Run and support a collaborative forum with key business areas and  both unions on a regular basis. 
Stakeholder engagement/management
o	Regular communications with key stakeholders such as Legal, Reward, Case Management and Senior Leaders

ER Manager

Implement strategic ER programmes across the UK BT group function. 
To engage and influence key stakeholders across the company with any ER changes that will impact their business area. 
To support the business with settlement agreements, restructures and redundancy programmes and mitigate risk where possible. 
To support the business with complex ER cases including grievance, disciplinary, performance, sickness and employment tribunals.  
Supported the delivery of projects relating to the formulation, implementation, development, review and determination of ER/HR related policies across BT and EE. 
Supported the business with restructures and redundancy programmes across the business. 
Managed up to 40 ER/HR cases across the business including disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness case along with supporting investigations, hearing preparation, outcome letters and ER/employment law advice.

Employee Relations Specialist

Advise and support managers through complex ER cases including, grievance disciplinary, performance, sickness and employment tribunals. 
Working closely with corporate managers and business partners to embed a high-performance culture. Specifically focused on consistent underperforming employees and worked with managers using the company Improving Performance process to improve performance in targeted areas. 
Managed and supported ER/HR cases across all areas of the business including retail, customer services and corporate functions and specifically, complex grievances, disciplinary, sickness (including long term) and performance within the corporate space and high volume cases across the front line areas of the business.

Senior Employee Relations  Advisor 

Managing end to end cases including sickness, performance, discipline and grievance. Working with key stake holders within the business, senior managers, line managers, legal and external organisations such as ACAS. Providing advice throughout the process around policy and best practice and to minimise any risk.

Senior ER Advisor

Management and administration of EE's group income protection scheme. Working with internal and external stakeholders, line managers,employees and insurers to ensure that all claims are submitted and managed as efficiently as possible.
