As a kid, I had a fascinating hobby: taking apart toys, games, and gadgets just to see how they worked. Sure, a few things ended up a bit worse for wear, but those "uh-oh" moments became my best teachers. They weren’t roadblocks – they were stepping stones to my next experiment. In school, I had a knack for Maths and Science. Most people expected me to become an engineer or scientist, but my aspirations were different. Watching my dad struggle with his accounts inspired me to simplify his life. That’s when I discovered my true calling: becoming a Chartered Accountant. I dived into Commerce studies, and to my surprise, I loved it. The respect CAs commanded and my growing fascination with accounting sealed the deal. On my journey to becoming a CA, I explored a wide range of topics – Finance, Taxation, Audit, Data Analysis, Supply Chain Management, and Strategic Decision-Making. Each subject was an adventure, fuelled by my relentless curiosity and drive to improve myself. But did I leave my tech interests behind? Not at all! My love for gadgets led me to develop a strong tech-savvy side. I mastered computers, the internet, and emerging technologies, using them to work smarter, not harder. This passion naturally brought me to Odoo, where I focus on making accounting and compliance easier for users. Conducting nationwide trainings and learning from diverse perspectives has been an incredible experience. While I value kindness and collaboration, I’m not a fan of overly pushy behavior. I firmly believe in the power of compounding – not just in finance, but in life.
