Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland

As a Membership Manager, I support Troop Leaders and their Scouts during their participation in Girl Scouts. This includes things like: 
-Managing and supporting the registration of over 1,100 girls and nearly 500 volunteers annually covering three geographic territories 
-Achieving monthly recruitment goals based on member and volunteer metrics (and exceeding them by 2 months' goals)
-Scheduling and managing the logistics for weekly new troop formations, information sessions, and new leader orientations
-Facilitating monthly service unit meetings to provide services and supports from GSOH and GSUSA
-Establishing relationships with and empowering new volunteer leaders 
-Updating membership information, meeting locations and troop capacities using Salesforce
-Monitoring volunteer training completions and background check completions
-Recruiting new members and volunteers by generating and fostering connections
-Building new leader updates emails to promote awareness, possible adaptations, and support 
-Planning annual Membership Manager development to promote team 
-Preparing and leading age-appropriate activities to build community, promote inclusivity and embrace the values of Girl Scouts
-Advertising about events using flyers, social media, partnerships with local schools, and Girl Scout Troop Leader networks

Office of Student Life - The Ohio State University 

As a member of the Ohio Union Student Activities team, I had a number of responsibilities that support the involvement opportunities for all Ohio State Students:
-Managed the day-to-day operations of a resource center with various printing and material making services
-Supported the operations and needs of over 120 student org office and locker tenants within the 22,000 square foot KBK Center
-Educated students interested in beginning organizations on activation steps
-Scheduled 22 staff members for shifts in the Resource Room
-Guided 3 student managers in various programmatic efforts
-Served as the liaison for the Coca-Cola Donation program for campus, providing over 8,000 cases of product
-Reviewed leadership award applications, and students for employment in the department
-Developed and supported programs to build community among students and student org community
-Presented information to incoming first year students, transfer students, and prospective students about involvement at Ohio State
-Advised the KBK Council and it's programmatic efforts

Youngstown State University

With a focus on training and development, my internship experience with FYSS allowed me to accomplish several things for the benefit of First Year students:
-Crafted and implemented hiring and training materials for the onboarding of summer orientation leaders
-Coordinated the logistics of trainings, day-to-day responsibilities, and content for orientation purposes
-Authored and suggested content for chapters of the new First Year Student Success 1500 course textbook
-Developed Success Specialist training materials for the First Year Student Success 1500 course
-Hosted mock interviews, application reviews, and focus groups for the FreshGuin Leader Program

Graduate Associate Intern, First Year Student Services

As the Graduate Associate for the Department of Campus Recreation, my contributions included a variety of activities:
-Scheduled student shifts for a staff of 45 using When To Work technology
-Assisted in various training activities benefiting student employees, such as handling difficult conversations, crises, accountability and eventually CPR
-Revised the Campus Recreation application, interview sign-ups, student-led interviews, and overall hiring process to improve quality of candidate and completion rate for applications
-Developed and created programming to benefit student staff and student patrons of the facility
-Collaborated and executed Facility Staff, Facility Supervisor, New Hire, and All Staff trainings
-Built surveys and other similar materials to evaluate various department areas

Graduate Associate Intern, Department of Campus Recreation

As an Athletics Academic and Support Intern, I had several responsibilities to aid in the support of our student-athletes:
-Constructed and supervised a tutoring request monitoring system using Microsoft Forms and Excel, matching students with the appropriate campus resources, including Athletic tutors, Center for Student Progress tutors, Math Assistance Center tutors, Writing Center tutors, or internal department tutors.
-Assembled options for student schedules based on practices times, degree percentages, major standing and NCAA and university guidelines
-Explored the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity efforts and opportunities Athletics could be utilizing to promote those initiatives within the entire department as well as within the Horizon League
-Counseled student athletes undecided on a major or specific career path through O*Net, My Plan, and university career-related assessments

Athletics Academic Advising & Support Intern

With a focus on student well-being, virtually interning with the Division of Student Experience afforded me the ability to expand on my understanding of resources and ways to better support students, including:
-Researched Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts across collegiate recreation to develop and implement a new departmental policy 
-Implemented best practices among professional and student staff concerning DEI efforts
-Investigated and compiled mental health programming opportunities
-Generated an executive summary report outlining the 2019-2020 accomplishments

Graduate Intern for Student Wellbeing, Division of Student Experience

Trumbull County Agricultural Society

As a Fair Board Office Assistant, my ultimate goal was to ensure that participants were knowledgeable about the happenings of the fair, how to access supports, and answer questions. 
-Documented and recorded camping and parking reservations, as well as providing the appropriate paperwork and permits upon participants' arrival.
-Answered customer questions concerning the 2019 county fair or Fair Board memberships, as well as conflict resolution.
-Assisted community members in the purchasing of fair passes, contest entering practices, and campsite guidelines. 
-Designed promotional posters, flyers, milkshake tickets and other various signage pieces related to fair business. 
-Wrote and announced Public Service Announcements and weather advisory updates to fairgoers over the loudspeakers.
-Communicated with Fair stakeholders regarding trends from participants and informational needs for the team. 
-Performed the National Anthem prior to major events on site, typically for thousands of patrons and community members.

-Promoted positive interactions on campus in organizations, classrooms, and other various settings.
-Authored regular posts detailing various involvement and campus life experiences.

The Ohio State University Alumni Association

As an intern for the Ohio State University Alumni Association, my goal was to connect and engage with alumni in the Trumbull County area. Throughout the internship, I:
-Educated alumni on the services provided by the association, ways to get involved in person or virtually.
-Raised $575 for student scholarships, the local Mahoning - Trumbull County scholarship, and other various causes. 
-Shared Buckeye narratives with Ohio State graduates over coffee and learning from the strong, impactful leaders that encompass the Alumni Association.

The Boo Radley Society

As the primary leader of a random acts of kindness organization, my job was to ensure the organization maintained good standing with the institution, while also supporting the goals and initiatives of the organization. 
-Guided the Boo Radley Society's 80 members in the planning and execution of random acts of kindness at The Ohio State University's Columbus campus. 
-Coordinated large group and Executive Board meetings to ensure tasks are completed timely and effectively. 
-Collaborated with the Vice President to goal set and lead an Executive Board for the year. 
-Established and maintained a positive atmosphere that is inviting and welcoming for all people, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other defining factor. 
-Promoted the growth of Boo Radley Society chapters at other colleges, universities, and schools across the country.

The Marketing Director for the Boo Radley Society ensures that the mission of the organization is thoughtfully shared with community members, and unites organization members. 
-Coordinated and curated all posts for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as blog posts.

As the founding Public Relations Liaison for the Millennial Theatre Company, my ultimate goal was to support the awareness of the organization to participants and members of the community. 
-Maintained all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube) to promote the Millennial Theatre Company (MTC) positively and professionally.
-Coordinated content for social media accounts as well as press releases, media pitches, blog posts, and news articles. 
-Crafted the pre-show and post show experiences for guests.
-Researched interests of the millennial generation's theatre preferences and habits. 
-Collaborated with the members of MTC's board to decide season as well as completely necessary tasks surrounding the benefit of the company.

As a Narrative Artist, I am most excited about helping people create and share their vision for life with the world. I'm passionate about the training and development of people, and love connecting people to ideas and experiences that bring them one step closer to their goal. I believe that everyone can make a difference, can bring about positive impact in the world, and if we work together, we can help others do so, too.  

I enjoy fitness, cheering for Cleveland and Columbus sports teams, exploring new foods and adventuring to the many metro parks Columbus has to offer. I volunteer throughout my church and in the community, and believe that it's our duty to leave the world and people better than we found them. Excited to connect and see what good we can create together.
