In my current role I am working as a teacher and I am responsible for proving high quality learning opportunities in Business Studies and ICT to achieve the highest possible standards.

It is also my responsibility to be a point of contact for parents and senior management and to verify results and create coherent reports in an effective and efficient manner. 

I am also responsible for regular assessment and analysis to ensure people and projects are on track and to develop effective contingency plans. 

As part of my role I am responsible for working within a confidential environment with a high level of accountability. I was recently assigned the task of coordinating ICT demonstrating the trust senior management have in me.  

It is my responsibility to use a variety of teaching methods, differentiated to meet the needs of individuals, in order to stretch and challenge them.

I am also responsible for using data to monitor progress, provide support and guidance.

I have demonstrated that I am able to work independently with minimal supervision to identify and respond to specific needs and demands and have experience in meeting tight deadlines and budgetary requirements on a daily basis.

I started at Supermacs as a sales assistant, here I was responsible for attracting new and retaining existing customers. This was a challenging role in such a competitive industry, but one I excelled at, leading to my promotion to shift supervisor. 

In my new role I had to interpret and analyse customer buying patterns and make strategic decisions on store offers and promotions.

I took responsibility over budgetary control when ordering supplies meaning that I was in daily contact with many suppliers which I believe helped develop my organisational and commercial awareness by trying to negotiate the best deals. I also had the task of keeping the kitchen at a high standard in accordance with environmental health standards. 

As well as organising shift rotas, I produced performance reports for senior management and implemented some marketing strategies.

I developed a range of skills during my time at St Patrick’s Academy where I managed to work 30 hours a week on-top of my university studies showing that I am a committed and hard-working individual.

In the school I was able to build positive working relationships with students and staff and take on a leadership role as ICT coordinator.
