I enjoy contributing my skills to cultural, heritage, and tourism projects. Starting this January, we are launching a feasibility study for a permanent Carnival center and museum in Aalst. We are also working on a significant project for immovable heritage, which considers the relationship and collaboration between the Flemish and local governments. Recently, we completed a report on a new rationale for supporting and financing immovable heritage, an organizational and financial model for the new ‘Performing Arts Site’ in Leuven, and an inspirational report for Leuven’s event policy. Additionally, we are working on a project for the international Perform Europe network and a repurposing project for two castles in Ternat. In my previous roles, I have worked in event management, collaborative arts marketing, consultancy, heritage, and contemporary art. As the general director of Kunst in Huis, an arts rental non-profit, I encountered and overcame all the challenges and perks that a non-profit organization may face. These experiences, both positive and negative, have enriched my perspective on envisioning, strategy building, and policy making.
