I am an inaugural Community Manager at LinkedIn. Our team operates within the product-editorial org, and is dedicated to building the voice of the professional workforce through news, ideas, and community. My first project was launching our editorial creator economy vertical, where I was responsible for cultivating relationships with major thought leaders in the creator economy and creating a space for their conversations to flourish on the platform. I currently manage our prominent voice vertical - supporting and collaborating with those who have an outsized impact on the community. This role offers me a unique opportunity to not only meet with hundreds of incredible members but also work with teams all across our company from Business Development to Product Managers to Legal to Marketing etc I’ve supported several major product launches: Audio Events, Creator Analytics, LinkedIn Games, Collaborative Articles, the evolution of our Top Voice program, and short form immersive video surfaces. Prior to joining LinkedIn, I was part of the early creator partnerships team at Jellysmack. There, I helped our team sign over 250 top creators worldwide to multi-platform distribution deals. I spent my early career years in the music industry. I've worked/interned in music touring at agencies like ICM Partners, WME, and CAA. I also served as a college marketing representative for Sony Music for 2 years as the LA Urban Rep and a summer interning at Columbia Records. My exposure to the creator economy began even earlier, during high school. I was a founding member of Bravefest, a concert series that featured rising digital creators alongside top musical acts. This was my introduction to the creator economy and community/fan building - sparking a passion that has driven my career ever since. I never planned for any of it, each moment starting from putting on live events in high school to LinkedIn has naturally led me to the next opportunity. I’ve always remained constant in my desire for challenge, making an impact, connecting with others, and improving upon my best work - that’s what I believe has gotten me to this point.
