• Launched Employee Self Service portal which gives employees access leave balances and requests, pay stubs and direct deposit information.
• Collaborated with UX to prototype MyGovHub iOS and Android app to validate market assumptions.

Principal Product Manager, Research & Development

Synacor

Charged with creating the heart of Synacor's next generation Portal, led the direction of two agile development teams in the creation of RESTful APIs and Publishing Tools to support the creation, curation, aggregation and promotion of infinite Streams of content for mobile and desktop start experiences for 20+ million users in multiple countries. Responsible for everything from product strategy and roadmaps to acceptance criteria in individual stories, and prioritization.

Clients included cable and telecommunication companies like Verizon (http://fiostrending.verizon.com) and Centurylink, and Consumer Electronics companies like Toshiba (http://home.toshiba.com) and Lenovo. Content Integrations included AP, AOL, AFP, NewsCred, Outbrain, CelebTV, Weather.com, SilverChalice, and The Sports Network.

• Launched new Content API’s to power endless Stream of content for next gen Portals (http://home.toshiba.com/)
• Delivered a Personalized Stream which affected 100% of the user base through passive activity.
• Integrated Outbrain to increase monetization of Portals which resulted in an additional $500k in annual revenue
• Retired legacy Weather Channel and reintegrated with Weather.com as a rev-share partner creating an additional $170k in annual revenue
• Launched 2014 World Cup and Final Four special events pages for all clients which increased Sports Channel traffic by 10% and cross-promoted TV Everywhere live streaming channels
• Monetized Android platform by incorporating App Promotions in the Stream
• Extended Publishing Tool capabilities to support multi-device publishing of Portals
