I am a business leader with 20+ years experience, working for global companies and specialising in marketing, innovation and technology. I work inside your company, as part of your leadership team, to establish the marketing foundations every SaaS business needs to grow profitably, both at home and abroad. I am exposed to a wide range of technology and business models - from sensor technology, data analytics, streaming, AI to blockchain - and I love it. I am the former Head of Marketing at Movio, a Vista Group company (NZS/ASX:VGL), the global leader in marketing data analytics and campaign management for the film industry. My role focussed on creating and spearheading the company’s marketing strategy, overseeing all marketing activity and managing a team of marketers and designers, enabling Movio to grow 500% over four years whilst securing a global market share of more than 29%. My key responsibilities included corporate marketing, brand messaging, employment branding, implementing Movio’s thought leadership strategy and managing events and PR. I have been on the marketing teams of global companies involved in B2C and B2B marketing, in the technology and entertainment industries, including Mattel Interactive, French telecommunications company Orange, and Vivendi Universal Games – now Activision Blizzard, responsible for renowned kids brands such as Mattel’s Barbie and Nickelodeon’s Rugrats. I also managed my own start-up for four years, bringing concierge services to the workplace thanks to technology, until it was acquired by the market leader. Back then it was ground-breaking, now it's a mainstream employee benefit!
