National Infusion Center Association (NICA)

We founded the (NICA) National Infusion Center Association for the purpose of promoting patient access to non-chemotherapeutic infusion and specialty injectable medications. As congress and private payers continue to reduce reimbursement and increase regulatory pressure on healthcare providers, patient access to specialty biologic and other infusible/injectable medications is disappearing.    

The NICA is a non-profit association with the mission to provide advocacy and education to improve patient access to IV (intravenous) and injectable medications.

Managed the global pricing strategy and contract negotiation for Paragon Healthcare and subsidiaries including our Pharmacy and Infusion Center businesses. I was responsible for all purchasing and inventory management of a $100+ Million dollar book of business. Responsibilities also included licensing and regulatory management and facility and medical device provisioning for our staff on the front lines of patient care.
