Account Manager

•	Develop long-term relationships with over 50 customers from medium to large-sized accounts by investigating prospects, defining potential leads and generating demand for new IT and Telecommunication solutions.
•	Work with the presales team to design solutions based on the technologies required for each customer requirement; dimensioning the level of resources needed, determining equipment specifications for project dependent on site layouts, geographic locations, specific applications to be deployed and levels of service demanded.
•	Generate budgetary quotes, technical & commercial proposals; manage opportunities to closure and contract sign-off.
•	Create pipeline, manage sales funnels on Salesforce CRM and regularly report to divisional and Regional Sales Directors.
•	Visit and organise weekly calls with decision-makers and C level executives to foster and build highly productive working relationships. Follow up on customer satisfaction levels in accordance with Net Promoter Score methodology.
•	Assist the delivery team providing essential information for project implementation and delivery both on time and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
•	Continually evolving the knowledge base around BT's core solutions of connectivity, security, unified communications, professional services and resale of ICT hardware and software.
•	Develop an understanding of the various relevant market sectors such as energy, finance, services, retail, utility, healthcare, education, public sector, etc.
•	Identify the main players in the telco industry and compete for new contracts in new “Request For Purchases” for existing and potential clients.
