• Led the data science team in a document layout understanding project. Partially involved preparing the data architecture, ingesting data, preparing large and heterogeneous data sources and applying different predictive models and LLMs using Python (Pytorch, Huggingface and Pandas) & Shellscript (April 2021-March 2023).

• Involved in the design, acquisition, expansion, setup, and testing of HPC infrastructure [LEON cluster] (Sept 2020-Present).

• Involved as a task leader team member in several work packages and experiments of the H2020 project EUHubs4Data; helping to collect open data sources and standardize data-driven services of Digital Innovation Hubs across Europe using Python in containerized applications, designing data architectures and writing reports and deliverables (Sept 2020-Present).

• Ingesting, cleaning, preparing large datasets from different data sources (e.g. weather, SCADA, ...), and applying different predictive models as part of the FREMI (Forecasting Renewable Energy with Machine Intelligence) project using Python (Keras, Scikit-Learn, Scikit-Multiflow, Pandas, SQLAlchemy), SQL & Shellscript (Feb 2019-May 2020). 

• Developed an end-to-end web application to process large amounts of food images and recognize impurities using Python (Flask, Scikit-Image) and Javascript (Nov 2018-Jan 2019).
