There are TWO things I LOVE about being a scientist: (1) performing multi-step analyses in the lab and (2) sharing my results with the community. I’m on an awesome career journey which has seen me collect evidence on over 500 crime scenes, conduct over 1000 examinations at the bench, lead a four member team at a national forensic laboratory, and tell my stories to nearly 50,000 people on three continents. I’m already applying my knowledge, skills, and abilities as the Founder of Sure Science Consulting, where I provide clients accurate and reliable information to help them make important decisions on justice, quality, and profitability. At the same time I’m working my way towards a new role in a forensic laboratory to continue using science to find answers to complex legal questions.
