I've led personnel across government and civilian agencies in fast-paced international environments. Along the way, I've improved processes, initiated change and managed transformation. I have accomplished this by: - Helping others to succeed through mentorship, coaching and providing opportunities to shine. - Managing/directing programmes and the people carrying project loads. Developing programme and people knowledge first, collaborating to eliminate waste and increase efficiency while tracking toward goals. - Conducting comprehensive planning to chart and track vision of success within defined timelines, while accounting for external influence and changes with approved alternatives. - Solving problems / developing solutions by leveraging education, experience and subject matter expertise while considering given parameters, all influenced by data and trend analysis. -Evaluating and managing risk using business rules to define limits and published methodologies driving mitigation or appetite for a higher magnitude of risk acceptance. - Managing resources including human, fiscal and material using analysis of key performance indicators, benefits, loss of efficiency and results. I view detailed planning and relationship building as key enablers to success. This worked well while serving over 8 years within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as a strategic and operational planner, international communicator, coordinator, consultant and negotiator. I listen and mediate. My aviation core competence drives the attention-to-detail I infuse in work processes; verified in results. I'm also adamant the legacy effects of actions and applied solutions are always considered and explained to customers. I’m a veteran of naval service putting down roots in the United Kingdom, where I will share my experiences and skills to manage programmes planning and transformation of organisational processes, adding value to businesses to better our world.
