- Led fundraising and contributed to strategy on #Gameover release campaign, alongside AIA Ambassador Craig Foster and Campaign Manager Tim O’Connor. This campaign was instrumental in releasing and resettling a number of refugees on Manus Island and Nauru, including Behrouz Boochani. 

- With a one week deadline, raised $101K to breathe life into the campaign and led internal buy in for this ‘tied funding’ proposal. 

- Composed the briefing document to explain Amnesty’s release solution, public mobilisation and lobbying proposal, which was circulated to Major Donors, Arts community and led to gifts from newly engaged prospects.

- Managed the largest organisation portfolio of 150-200 major donors and up to $850,000 in gifts during 2020/2021, both uplifting existing donors and soliciting new gifts from cold prospects

- Organised Major Donor events (Hakeem Al-Araibi release dinner, Fremantle Arts Centre - Beats for Bravery), with 2020 Council Members, including identifying guests, venues, invitations, catering and logistics, which led to engagement of new donors, in Sydney & Fremantle. 

- Implemented weekly ‘calling time’ cycle, which involved motivating colleagues from other offices to reach out and engage with donors a a higher volume. 

- Implemented sales call and meeting strategy training for AIA and Global Head of Fundraising, which was circulated globally to 150 countries to use as a guide. 

- Composed a ‘why’ training document, to better explain Amnesty’s pitch to donors, which was also adapted in multiple national offices, as part of their training manuals. Consulted with London head office to pitch and articulate Amnesty’s ‘why’ in line with their global marketing strategy. 

- Collaborated and led on Freedom of Speech campaign for Assange, including rally speech highlighting Amnesty’s response, lobbying internal Directors and providing guidance on details of his case.

Since 2022, I've been a Senior Philanthropy Manager at Children's Medical Research Institute, sourcing major gifts for the organisation from passionate major donors. 

Prior to this, I was in a similar role at Amnesty International which also encompassed raising funds for the #Gameover campaign and campaigning to protect press freedom and Assange’s release.

Previously, I worked as an Accounting and Finance Recruitment Consultant for People2people, focusing on high volume Business Development and relationship building. 

After gaining valuable work experience as a Youth Worker in country N.S.W and academia at the University of New England, I graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2013 with a degree in International Law & International Relations, following a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) in 2011.
